1971 – Porsche 911 2.2L T Targa French circulation permit Chassis n°9111110565 Engine n°6133645 - Interesting Targa version with very sound bodywork - History since new, stamped maintenance booklet - 2.4L T engine and 915-type 5-speed gearbox - Attractive "Tangerine" bodywork and on-board manuals Location: Paris region The car presented is a 911 2.2L T Targa, which was sold new in North Carolina, USA, on December 12, 1970, as indicated by its original service book, stamped until 1979. From 1973 to 1976, maintenance was carried out by the network in Texas, then in 1979 in Arkansas. From 1980 to 1989, a notebook dutifully filled in by the owner provides information on kilometers driven, fuel fill-ups and repairs carried out. In 2008, the car was exported from Florida by a French professional, who placed it under the hammer of Maître Poulain in 2009, from whom the current owner purchased it. A file of invoices accompanies the car. In 1979, an American invoice indicates that the engine was rebuilt and the block replaced by a 2.4-liter T (type 911/91). The two rear fenders are 2.7L Carrera RS, the 4 x 7" and 8" (wide) 2.7L wheels and the 5-speed 915 gearbox. She has been to Nourry Expérience in Bourth for the gearbox rebuild, and to Porsche Distribution in Versailles. The paintwork, which dates from 2009, has a few small chips that can easily be touched up, and the original black vinyl interior is in fair condition.
