The 504 Pick-up replaced the 404 Pick-up in 1979, more than 10 years after the sedan's launch. It was produced in various versions and engines, both petrol and diesel, until 1993, but was offered for sale until 1996. Production was then transferred to Argentina, Kenya and Nigeria until 2005. An indestructible car, after hard work in Europe, most of these Pick-ups were exported to Africa, where they still perform heavy-duty tasks.
The car for sale is a 1986 Heuliez / Augereau 504 V20 Diesel, with a 404-type tipper carrying 1250 kg payload. This example is equipped with a limited-slip differential and a more powerful 2009 Panhard General Defense-plated diesel engine. Mechanically and bodily restored, this loyal and friendly 504 is sure to be of service to its new owner, and to turn heads along the way.
